Where hip-hop blogs seem like a dime-a-dozen today, I would like to introduce you to a different kind of hip-hop site. There will be a heavy emphasis on music of the recent past (ala Waxpoetics), with a good mix of the latest in news, and exclusive mixes.
The two main contributing editors are Zeck Wreck of the Bay Area, and Big Benner of Chicago. Both are golden-era heads, with a semi-unhealthy addiction to all things hip-hop, both past and present.
Basically, Bass Rocks is your one-stop spot for all things you need to be checking on. For instance, if you were wondering how good the new Guilty Simpson is, or wanted to learn more about the Only Built for Cuban Linx purple tape, we got you.
We’re in the early stages, so expect some updates to the site shortly (i.e. custom logo, guest editors, etc). Stay tuned my dunnies…
