The Clipse: “Fast Life” (Prod. Scott Storch)

Apparently, this is off the upcoming Re-Up Gang album…Even though Timbaland won, Scotty can still make a banger.

Worst Rap Songs Ever

June 16, 2008

In celebration of Wayne-mania and the recent success of “Lollipop,” I thought it would be fitting to look into some of rap music’s worst.  I actually had a great time reminiscing on these terrible songs, and think you will too.  Let me know if I’m missing any crucial ones, and feel free to get mad if your favorite artist is included.  That being said:

I’m (not) On

June 16, 2008

Nas: “I’m On (prod. DJ Khaled)”

So Nas won’t give DJ Premier a call, yet he’ll gladly make tracks with the most overrated producer in the game?  I really hope to hear at least one song from this album that gets me excited..

Wale Puts on His City

June 12, 2008

Wale: “Put On”

I don’t care what anyone has to say about hipsters, this guy can rap…Dude is a real-deal MC and I think hip-hop needs more (creative/talented) lyricists in the game.

Raekwon: “Once in a Lifetime”

Some more Raekwon OB4CL2 goodness just leaked onto the internets.  Here, The Chef gets his R&B on, and I’m definitely liking what I hear…If this and “Necro” are any indication of the album’s quality, then let the hype begin…Lil’ Wayne who?
