My Bass Rocks

For today’s Bass Radio entry, I thought I’d give a little shine to a group from the Now-Again label (under the Stones Throw umbrella) named Karl Hector & the Malcouns. The full-length dropped early last month, and I’ve been giving it some serious rotation ever since. Their sound has been described as a mix between The JB’s and African Soul, and the amount of funk throughout this album is ridiculous.
