Jeru the Damaja: “Come Clean”

MAN….This is defintely one of my favorite Jeru tracks (and Premier beats). The best part about the Jeru/Preemo collaborations is that Jeru allowed Premier to come a little more rugged than he could with Gang Starr. No diss to one of the best duos ever, but I think Preemo was a little more flexible with Jeru’s grimey style.
While I tend to lean a little more towards Wrath of the Math, his debut LP has a ton of gems on them (including the above). Regardless, Jeru is one of the GOAT’s and this track will always get play from the good folks at Bass Rocks. Oh, and quotables for days too…
