B.Cause On One Again

Bangers
I’ve been sleeping on my blog game lately, and only recently peeped Diamonds in the Dust, which has since added a plethora of bangers. For instance:
B*by Boy Da Prince – The Way I Live (you got what I need rework)
Cr*zy Right Now (t.a.t.d. blend)
Peep game and stop tripping. Shout out to B.Cause for keeping the remixes on point!
Shyne Po!
October 6, 2009

Brooklyn native (and hip-hop monster) Shyne was released today from years of incarceration for a crime he committed in the late 90′s. Welcome back to the world my dude. Hip-hop needs you right now, so feel free to take the crown at any time. New York could use a leader too (no shots Jay), and My Bass Rocks has deemed you the man for the job.
Po FTW!
UPDATE (Via MTV):
It looks like Shyne’s homecoming is on hold for the moment.
The former Bad Boy rapper (born Jamal Barrow) was scheduled to be released from prison Tuesday (October 6) after serving more than nine years of a 10-year sentence in connection with the 2001 Club New York shooting involving Diddy and Jennifer Lopez.
But his release is now under review, as representatives for the rapper revealed to MTV News that the Brooklyn MC is being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an unspecified facility in Western New York State. Officials are determining whether or not to deport the rapper, who was born in Belize, a rep explained.
“Shyne is currently in federal custody while his future immigration status is determined,” the rep said in a message to MTV News. Shyne attorney Oscar Michelen emphasized to MTV News on Tuesday afternoon that Shyne has not been released, contrary to media reports.
This is terrible. Nine years is a long-ass time only to get held back last minute…Damn.
Call Me

Joell Ortiz (feat. Novell): “Call Me”
This is so nice right now…I have no clue where this track will end up, but I’m hoping it gets the official release treatment. No shots at the mixtape route, but this is too nice not to be on a debut LP. Such a classic Al Green joint, but sounding like it’s also about to become a classic 2009 hip-hop joint. Cottam!
UPDATE: This will in fact get the official treatment. “Call Me” is the first single off his upcoming debut Free Agent. So far so good..

When was the last time Madlib made a beat this hard? Maybe Jaylib’s “Filthy McNasty?”
All I know is this project was just brought to my attention, and it’s the first time I’ve heard Strong Arm Steady over Madlib. Apparently, there will be an entire album full of SAS/Madlib collabo goodness coming soon. Oh, and on Stones Throw too…
