11 years ago today, one of the most deadly lyricists to ever touch the mic passed away…Big L had more style than a majority of the competition, and was absolutely relentless on wax.  It’s maddening to think what he could have done with more time, but the imprint he left on this culture is inarguably unparalleled.

I had the luck of finding his classic “Devil’s Son” almost a year ago, which in my opinion is one of the greatest hip-hop 12″ to ever drop.
