Pharrell Be Clowning

March 25, 2009

Seriously one of the funniest goddam things I’ve seen in a while.  The dancing and hollering made these Frenchies straight up leave the store to get security.  So clowning in so many ways..

“Come on baby, let’s eat!  Let’s Eat!  Let’s Eat!”

It’s (Still) Cold in the D

I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder in my life…Accappella version son!

“How the hell do we ‘posed to keep peace?”

It’s So Cold in the D

September 26, 2008

Even though this has been around a while, it might be the funniest goddam thing I’ve ever seen.

$20 for anyone who can find me a copy of this on wax.

P.S. How the fuck do we ‘posed to keep peace?

Isaac Hayes (1942-2008)

August 11, 2008

WOW…I can’t believe this one.  Soul music took a big hit yesterday as legendary singer/songwriter Isaac Hayes tragically passed away at the age of 65.  Hayes is well known for such classics as Black Moses, Shaft,  and Hot Buttered Soul, all of which continue to get rotation over at Bass Rocks.

Rest in peace to a true legend.

Check below for some Isaac Hayes staples…

Dig a Hole?

June 20, 2008

This is too good to pass on…Whoa.

From the hilarious people at 2dopeboyz.

This being the last installment of the “Best Verse Ever”.  I thought, why don’t I post about what is actually the true, objective (i did the math), best verse ever.  Of course I am talking about Nas’ verse on the Raekwon song “Verbal Intercourse”.  I pooped my pants a little bit the first time I heard it.  I’ll let it speak for itself…

If you were one the millions of people who bought Grand Theft Auto IV in the past month, chances are you’ve jacked a few cars to this track. This track’s already deemed one of the classics, but it’s good to see it resurfacing on a whole new landscape that Group Home and Primo never dreamed of back then. I can’t even count how many times I’d switch the radio station to Classics to listen to Supa Star, creep up on my target in my freshly-jacked Landstalker, and then pull a drive-by with my MP5. Group Home, you should be proud.
